Beskrivning
This report presents current knowledge of the criteria for acceptance of vibrations in lightweight floors, and summarises the results of a test program performed during the five construction phases of a floor. The objective was to determine the vibration properties of as many aspects of the floor as possible using a limited number of measurements. Four test methods were therefore used:
1.Hammer impact measurements to find the resonance frequencies of the floor and their damping values.
2.Walking-induced vibration to evaluate acceleration in realistic situations.
3.Heel-drop induced vibrations to evaluate “worst case” vibrations.
4.Subjective evaluations to evaluate individual’s perceptions of walking-induced vibration in the floor.
